Founding of the Society of Pioneers in Culinary Exploration

The world was becoming increasingly gray, cold, and tasteless. Fast food chains were taking over, spices were disappearing, and everything tasted the same. Behind this development stood a powerful organization that decided what people should eat. But not everyone submitted, and so a secret group emerged underground: The Society of Pioneers in Culinary Exploration, or Club SPICE for short.

They secretly experimented with the most diverse spices and unusual ingredients, mixed hot sauces, and sent handwritten recipes via shortwave radio. They spread their secret video messages on LaserDisc, but VHS cassettes prevailed.

Why underground?

After decades of industrialization and mass production, everything had been standardized: Every dish tasted like preservation, every plate was ordinary. People could no longer imagine a world full of colors, flavor, and passion. The membership card is the access to the secret meetings. You have become a Pioneer.

The Charismatic Visionary

DR. HEATWAVE

Former food researcher who wanted to bring the fire back to the kitchen. His experiments and recipes form the scientific foundation of the Society and still appear in their boxes today.

The Cool Strategist

CAPTAIN UMAMI

Coordinates the secret meetings, forges connections between Pioneers worldwide, plans actions against the grey food industry. Her work makes the Society operational and gives it structural stability underground.

The Mysterious Ambassador

AGENT SCOVILLE

Delivers secret messages to new members. His role as ambassador includes not only transmitting encrypted messages to new members, but also ensuring that this information is smuggled past the Consortium's control systems.

The Tech Engineer

MAJOR FUSION

Develops secret devices for transporting spices, builds encrypted communication systems, invents new tools for the Flavour Engineers (e.g., portable fermentation cases, disguised spice containers). Through his engineering skills, the Flavour Engineers gain access to tools that make their work possible in the first place.

The Eco Rebel

MONSIEUR VERDE

Teaches sustainable cultivation methods, operates secret urban gardens in Miami, ensures that the Society works in harmony with nature. His instinct allows Monsieur Verde to create stable micro-ecosystems even in complex urban environments and to recognize and establish harmonious conditions for rare spice plants.
