Thyme

Every spice has a story — from distant fields to careful hands and finally to your kitchen. With our Transparency Project, you can easily discover where your spice comes from, who shaped it along the way, and what makes it truly special. It's not about tracing every tiny step, but about understanding and appreciating the journey behind every pinch.

Packaging

Container

The Container

Our glass jars are manufactured in the north of Germany. They are made from a specific soda lime glass that is designed for the food and beverage industry.
Closure

The Closure

Our corks originate from Portugal are are a mixed press cork, which means that offcuts and otherwise unusable cork is combined into a food-safe closure for our jars.
Label

The Label

Our labels are made from cane sugar fiber (95%) and 5% hemp and linen. The matt labels are printed with organic ink in an offset printing process

Recycling Information

  1. Remove the cork stopper and dispose of it with your regular household waste. Cork is typically not recyclable in standard glass recycling.
  2. Leave the paper label on the jar. In most Swiss recycling systems, paper labels will be removed during the recycling process. Trying to remove them yourself can be time-consuming and unnecessary.
  3. Rinse out the jar if it contained food or sticky substances to prevent contamination of the glass recycling.
  4. Place the clean glass jar in the designated glass collection container for your municipality. Follow local guidelines regarding clear and colored glass separation if applicable.
